CHICAGO, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Kosuke Fukudome tripled in the go-ahead run in the sixth Thursday and the Cleveland Indians held on to down the Chicago White Sox 4-2.

Matt LaPorta gave Cleveland a 2-1 lead in the fourth with a two-run home run but Chicago came back to tie it during the bottom half of the inning on an RBI single by Tyler Flowers.

The Indians went back in front in the sixth when Shin-Soo Choo led off the inning with an infield single and Fukudome launched a triple to right off Will Ohman (0-3), the third Chicago pitcher.

Fukudome scored later in the frame on a bases-loaded walk issued by Jason Frasor.

Justin Masterson (10-7) worked six innings to get the win, giving up both Chicago runs on seven hits.

Cleveland called on Vinnie Pestano to work the eighth in a 4-2 game and he loaded the bases with two away before getting Gordon Beckham on strikes to end the threat.
