DENVER, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Jason Giambi blasted a three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning Monday, completing a four-run rally that pushed the Colorado Rockies past Florida 7-4.
Trailing 4-3 and down to their last out off Marlins closer Leo Nunez (1-3), Dexter Fowler and Carlos Gonzalez stroked back-to-back doubles to tie the contest.

Troy Tulowitzki (2-for-3, two-run homer) was intentionally walked and Randy Choate came in to face Giambi, who lined a pitch into the right field stands for a game-winning homer.
The rally made a winner of Matt Belisle (7-4), who tossed 1 2/3 scoreless relief innings as the Rockies claimed the opener of a three-game series at Coors Field.
Mike Stanton and John Buck each went deep for the Marlins.
