LOS ANGELES, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Hiroki Kuroda hurled seven shutout innings and Justin Sellers hit his first career homer Sunday in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 7-0 win over Houston.
Kuruda (8-14) gave up five hits and a walk while striking out six, lifting the Dodgers to their first three-game series sweep of the Astros since July 2008.
Sellers, a shortstop playing in only his third career big-league game, blasted a three-run shot in the sixth to close out the Dodgers' scoring.
Dioner Navarro and Matt Kemp also went deep as Los Angeles banged out 10 hits.
Houston's Jordan Lyles (1-7) was tagged for seven runs on seven hits in a 5 1/3-inning effort.
