NFL: Arizona 24, Oakland 18

OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Max Hall threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Williams with 50 seconds remaining Thursday to give the Arizona Cardinals a 24-18 exhibition win over Oakland.

The late scoring pass produced the fifth lead change of the game and finished off a 68-yard drive engineered by Hall, a product of Brigham Young who is battling for a spot on the Arizona roster.

Oakland took the lead with 2:32 to go on a 57-yard field goal, the last of four by 12-year veteran Sebastian Janikowski.

Hall then completed all four of his throws on the ensuing drive for 66 yards. Williams took a short pass from Hall and turned it into the 28-yard touchdown that survived a replay challenge. The replay assistant in the booth asked for the review on the belief that Williams had stepped out of bounds.

Arizona quarterback Kevin Kolb, obtained in a deal with Philadelphia after the league's collective bargaining agreement was signed, completed 4-of-7 passes for 68 yards.

The only Oakland touchdown came on an 18-yard throw from Trent Edwards to David Ausberry that gave the Raiders a 15-9 lead late in the third period.
