MIAMI, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Martin Prado drove in the go-ahead run in the 11th inning and Dan Uggla stretched his hitting streak to 30 games Tuesday in Atlanta's 4-3 win over Florida.
Michael Bourn smacked a one-out double in the top of the 11th off Edward Mujica (8-4) and Prado chased him home with a ground single to right field. Mike Stanton's throw home hit the backstop.
George Sherrill (3-1) earned the victory with a scoreless 10th and Craig Kimbrel notched his 36th save by inducing Mike Cameron to hit into a double play to end the game.
Uggla's infield hit in the fifth inning moved him within one game of Atlanta's all-time record for longest hitting streak, held by Rico Carty (1970). Tommy Holmes had a 37-game streak in 1945 when the franchise was still in Boston.
Prado also homered with one out in the fifth for the Braves, who lead the National League wild card race.
John Buck smashed a three-run homer to tie for Florida in the seventh inning.
