John Axford racked up his 24th save despite allowing a run in the bottom of the ninth, and Francisco Rodriguez (3-2) earned his first win as a Brewer after being acquired from the Mets following Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game.
Corey Hart belted a two-run homer for Milwaukee, which notched its first win after two losses in its four-game series with Colorado.
Todd Helton drove in three runs with a two-run double and a run-scoring single in the ninth for Colorado.
