DENVER, July 15 (UPI) -- Juan Nicasio, making the ninth appearance of his career, teamed with two relievers on a four-hit shutout Friday to bring Colorado a 4-0 win over Milwaukee.
Nicasio (4-2) gave up the four hits over seven innings, improving to 4-0 at home. After throwing 97 pitches, Nicasio gave way to Matt Lindstrom in the eighth.
Both Lindstrom and Huston Street threw a perfect relief inning in helping the Rockies win for the fourth time in five games.
Two of Colorado's runs came on singles by Todd Helton in the third and seventh innings. Dexter Fowler scored on a wild pitch in the first and again on a double by Troy Tulowitzki in the fifth.
Fowler was recalled from Class AAA Colorado Springs earlier in the day. He had played 57 games with the Rockies this season.
Milwaukee's Ryan Braun went 0-for-3, ending his career-best 23-game hitting streak. Chris Narveson (6-6) took the loss after allowing three runs on five hits in six innings.
