INVERNESS, Scotland, July 8 (UPI) -- Graeme McDowell is among three players at 11-under par after Friday's play at the European Tour's Scottish Open.

McDowell and Scottish players Scott Jamison and Peter Whiteford are at 11-under 133 after 36 holes, but 78 players are yet to finish their second rounds. Lightning in the area around Inverness, Scotland, led officials to suspend play.

Among those with second-round holes to complete are first-round co-leaders Lee Westwood and Mark Tullo, who were both even on the day. Westwood got 11 holes in Friday and Tullo played nine before play was halted.

Jose Manuel Lara also shot 66 Friday and is a 10-under alone in fourth. Angel Cabrera and Paul Lawrie each turned in 8-under 64s and are tied with Nicolas Colsaerts (66 Friday) for fifth at 9-under 135.

McDowell turned in an 8-under 64 Friday with a round that included six birdies and an eagle at the par-5, 530-yard 12th hole.

Jamison took a roundabout route to a 6-under 66. He had two bogeys and a double bogey but had six birdies -- with five in a row on Nos. 11-15 -- and two eagles.

Whiteford overcame back-to-back bogeys at 4 and 5 with eight birdies in his round.
