VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 7 (UPI) -- Jeff Cunningham scored in the game's final seconds Wednesday to give Columbus a 1-0 victory over Vancouver.
Vancouver lost its ninth game of the season, most in Major League Soccer, and played a man down for the final 12 minutes after Shea Salinas drew a red card.

Columbus goaltender William Hesmer stopped a penalty shot by Terry Dunfield to preserve the victory and Salinas hit the post with a shot prior to his dismissal.
The Crew (7-5-6) moved into a share of second place in the Eastern Conference with Philadelphia at 27 points, one behind New York.
Vancouver (2-9-8) has the fewest number of points (14) in the league.
