The game featured five home runs, two of them from Philadelphia's John Mayberry. He had a two-run blast in the second and a solo shot in the sixth, and Jimmy Rollins had a solo homer for the Phillies in the fourth.

Philadelphia built a 6-3 lead, but Logan Morrison hit a two-run homer for the Marlins in the sixth and they tied it in the seventh on an RBI single by Hanley Ramirez.

Stanton's homer made a winner out of Edward Mujica (6-2), who retired the side in order in the top of the 10th.
