MIAMI, July 4 (UPI) -- Vance Worley and two relievers combined on a two-hit shutout Monday and the Philadelphia Phillies blanked the Florida Marlins 1-0.
Worley (4-1) threw seven scoreless frames, improving to 2-0 with a 0.72 ERA in his four starts since being recalled from the minor leagues.
The right-hander held the Marlins to two hits, issued a pair of walks and struck out six as the NL East-leading Phillies won for the 20th time in 24 meetings with the Marlins in Florida.
Michael Stutes tossed a scoreless eighth and Antonio Bastardo notched his fifth save to complete the whitewash.
Philadelphia got the game's only run on a seventh-inning RBI single by Michael Martinez.
Marlins starter Ricky Nolasco (5-5) took the loss despite holding the Phils to one run on six hits over seven innings.
