Blues sign Oshie for year's extension

ST. LOUIS, June 30 (UPI) -- T.J. Oshie has been re-signed to a one-year contract by the St. Louis Blues, but the team did not disclose details.

"We're excited to have T.J. in the fold for another season," Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong said. "His energy and versatility make him an integral part of our club."

Last season, Oshie, 24, appeared in 49 games for the Blues, compiling 12 goals, 22 assists for 34 points. He posted a rating of plus-10. Overall, he has 44 goals and 77 assists in 182 NHL games, all with St. Louis, during the past three seasons.

The Washington native was tapped by the Blues as the 24th overall pick of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
