MLB: Pittsburgh 7, Toronto 6

TORONTO, June 28 (UPI) -- Alex Presley's first major-league homer gave Pittsburgh a first-inning lead Tuesday and the Pirates went on to post a 7-6 interleague win over Toronto.

Presley, who was recalled from Class AAA Indianapolis before the game, lifted a 3-2 pitch to right field and it carried over the wall for a two-run shot and the Bucs never trailed thereafter. The second-year outfielder, who later added an RBI single, was hitting .336 for Indianapolis before the call-up.
