MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 15, Minnesota 0

MINNEAPOLIS, June 27 (UPI) -- Matt Kemp went 4-for-5 and blasted a long homer Monday, keying a 24-hit attack that carried the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 15-0 interleague rout of Minnesota.

Kemp launched a 444-foot shot to center field in the seventh inning -- his National League-leading 22nd of the year -- and added an RBI double, as all nine Dodgers in the starting lineup collected at least one hit, score at least one run and drove in at least one.

Trent Oeltjen went 4-for-4 with a solo homer, Tony Gwynn Jr. also stroked four hits and Casey Blake added three hits and a bases-empty shot for Los Angeles.

Chad Billingsley (7-6) hurled six shutout innings, allowing four hits, walking two and striking out four.

Blake Hawksworth, Hong-Chih Kuo and Scott Elbert each contributed a scoreless frame to complete the Dodgers' fifth shutout of the year.

Twins starter Nick Blackburn (6-6) was rocked for eight runs (seven earned) on 12 hits before being yanked after 4 1/3 innings.

The 24 hits surrendered by Minnesota tied a team record for the most in a nine-inning game. The Twins yielded 24 hits to Seattle June 11, 1996.
