Tseng completes dominant LPGA victory

ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 26 (UPI) -- Top-ranked Yani Tseng completed a dominating win at the Wegman's LPGA Championship Sunday, carding a 6-under 66 for a 10-stroke victory.

The world No. 1 finished at 19-under-par 269, tying Cristie Kerr's tournament record set last year at Locust Hill Country Club in New York.

The victory was a milestone for 22-year-old Tseng. With the win she became the youngest golfer -- male or female -- to win four major championship titles.

It was a fitting locale for her since she took her first major at Locust Hill in 2008. Tseng also won the Kraft Nabisco and Women's British Open last year.

Finishing a distant second was Morgan Pressel (1-under 71) at minus-nine.

Defending champion Kerr fired a 3-under 69 to claim a share of third with Paula Creamer (69) and Suzann Pettersen (67) at eight-under 280.
