Wahl got the equalizer in the 33rd minute on a free kick around a five-man wall, putting the ball into the top-left corner from 25 yards out for his first career goal.

Only 6 minutes later, Fernandez accepted a pass from Roger Levesque and fired a shot past New England goalkeeper Matt Reis for his fourth goal of the season.

The Sounders finished June by winning four out of six matches and moved to within just four points of Western Conference leaders Los Angeles.

New England (3-8-6), meanwhile, remained winless on the road this season.

The Revs got their only score from Sainey Nyassi 3 minutes into the game.
