MLB: Florida 4, Seattle 2

SEATTLE, June 26 (UPI) -- Chris Volstad and three relievers handcuffed Seattle on six hits Saturday and the Florida Marlins posted a 4-2 win over the Mariners in an interleague contest.

Volstad (3-7) notched his first win since April 26, a span of 10 starts, limiting the Mariners to two runs on five hits over 6 2/3 innings, issuing no walks and striking out two.

Randy Choate and Edward Mujica combined for 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief and Leo Nunez racked up his 21st save with a 1-2-3 ninth for the Marlins.

Florida evened its three-game set at Seattle, in which the Marlins are the home team. The series was moved from Sun Life Stadium in Miami to Seattle's Safeco Field due to a concert by the rock group U2.

Hanley Ramirez cracked a two-run double in the first inning for the Marlins.

Seattle's Jason Vargas (5-5) was touched for four runs on eight hits over six innings.

Carlos Peguero belted a solo homer among his two hits for the M's.
