MLS: Kansas City 2, Vancouver 1

KANSAS CITY, Kan., June 25 (UPI) -- Omar Bravo and Julio Cesar scored in quick succession Saturday, rallying Sporting Kansas City to a 2-1 decision over Vancouver FC.

The Whitecaps struck first, using a header into the bottom-right corner by Camilo in the 14th minute to post a 1-0 lead.

But Kansas City (4-6-5) responded in the 32nd minute when Bravo was fouled in the box and converted from the spot for his second goal of the season.

He also set up the go-ahead goal in the 40th when he headed a pass to Cesar, who blasted a shot from close range for his first goal of the season.

Kansas City extended its unbeaten streak to seven straight while Vancouver (2-7-8) remained winless in nine road games this season.
