LOS ANGELES, June 25 (UPI) -- Erick Aybar's homer in the fifth Friday snapped a 2-2 tie and sent the Los Angeles Angels on their way to an 8-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Aybar's two-run blast highlighted a three-run inning that gave the Angels a 4-2 cushion. The Angels scored the final four runs of the game, one of them coming on a homer by Howie Kendrick in the sixth.

Dan Haren (7-5) labored through six innings while giving up 10 hits, but he still got the victory. He had given up a season-worst six runs to the New York Mets in a loss last weekend.
Rubby De La Rosa (3-2) surrendered five runs on nine hits with six strikeouts in six innings to take the loss.
