Oakland brought about extra innings on Conor Jackson's RBI single in the ninth but the Athletics let the game get away in unusual fashion and saw their six-game winning streak come to an end.
Duda reached on a one-out single in the 13th and went to second on a base hit by Daniel Murphy. After Angel Pagan flew to left for the second out of the inning, Ziegler threw three straight balls to Jose Reyes and then walked him intentionally.
That brought up Turner, who was hit by Ziegler's first pitch. Ziegler (2-1) hit a batter for just the sixth time in 219 career innings.
Duda singled in New York's first run in the second and Turner had an RBI base hit in the eighth.
The win went to Bobby Parnell (2-1), the sixth New York pitcher. He retired the side in the top of the 13th, his only inning of work.
