After a strike out, Josh Harrison hit a sharp ground right at Baltimore second baseman Blake Davis, making his first major league start. The ball went through his legs and into right field, allowing both runners to score easily.

That handed the loss to Zach Britton (6-5), who allowed five runs -- three earned -- on seven hits and one walk in six innings. He also struck out five.

Pittsburgh starter Kevin Correia (9-6), despite giving up nine hits and four runs in six innings got the win. Joel Hanrahan pitched the ninth for his 20th save.

Pittsburgh grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first with Andrew McCutcheon driving in the first and the other scoring on a double play. The Orioles had two-run rallies in each the third and fourth innings with J.J. Hardy's two-run double in the fourth the big hit.
