BOSTON, June 17 (UPI) -- Adrian Gonzalez put Boston in front with a fifth-inning homer Friday and the Red Sox pulled away to defeat Milwaukee 10-4.
Boston won its third straight and for the 12th time in 13 games.

The Red Sox produced a 14-hit attack with Gonzalez and David Ortiz having three each. Kevin Youkilis and J.D. Drew both had two RBI.
Gonzalez also had a double and his home run in the fifth broke a 4-4 tie.
John Lackey (5-5) survived eight innings to get the interleague win, giving up four runs on eight hits with five strikeouts.
The loss went to reliever Marco Estrada (1-4), who was charged with three runs on four hits.
