Lee, Perrino lead France's Saint-Omer Open

LUMBRES, France, June 17 (UPI) -- Craig Lee and Andrea Perrino are tied for the lead halfway through the European Tour's Saint-Omer Open in France.

Lee shot a 3-under-par 68 and Perrino had a 2-under 69 Friday, putting them at 5-under 137 after 36 holes.

First-round leader George Coetzee followed his opening-round 66 with a 1-over 72. That included a double-bogey at the par-5, 531-yard 14th hole, which he had birdied Thursday.

Federico Colombo shot 4-under 67 and jumped into fourth, two strokes behind the leaders. Four other players are at 2-under.

Perrino, who played the back nine first, had a steady round that included three birdies and a bogey at the par-5 seventh hole. His birdies came at Nos. 12, 16 and 3. One of his two bogeys Thursday was at the third hole.

Lee posted consecutive birdies on Nos. 3-5 but had three bogeys and three birdies the rest of the way. Lee had bogeys at Nos. 7, 12 and 15, with birdies at 9, 11 and 13 sandwiched in between.
