CHICAGO, June 16 (UPI) -- Kosuke Fukudome had three hits and drove in four runs Thursday in leading the Chicago Cubs to a 12-7 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Fukudome scored a run after singling in the first, had an RBI triple in the second and added a 3-run home run in the sixth as part of a 14-hit Cubs attack.

Starlin Castro chipped in three hits and Carlos Pena had a home run in the third inning. Chicago scored runs in six of its eight at bats.

Matt Garza (3-6) needed the support as he allowed five runs in six innings but still got the win. Milwaukee starter Zack Greinke (6-2) struck out 10 in 5 1/3 innings but also allowed eight runs -- six earned -- on eight hits and two walks.

Ryan Braun put the Brewers up in the first inning with his 15th home run of the season but the Cubs answered right back, tying the score on Castro's double and a passed ball.

Milwaukee got two more runs in the second when George Kottaras hit his first home run of the year. Again Chicago came back, this time with three runs on a wild pitch, Fukudome's triple and an error.
