COPENHAGEN, Denmark, June 12 (UPI) -- Danish favorite Caroline Wozniacki cruised to her fifth title of the year Sunday, dispatching Lucie Safarova in the final at the e-Boks Sony Ericsson Open.

The world No. 1 handled the Czech in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, in a 68-minute match.

Wozniacki was good on 4-of-6 break points and finished an impressive run in Copenhagen during which she didn't lose a set.

She added her home country crown to four other victories this season at Dubai, Indian Wells, Charleston and Brussels.

It was Wozniacki's 17th career WTA title.

Safarova, seeded fourth, was able to defeat the Dane on a clay court last year in Stuttgart but couldn't match her on the hard surface and fell to 4-6 all time in WTA finals.
