MLS: Toronto FC 2, Los Angeles 2 (tie)

CARSON, Calif., June 12 (UPI) -- Alan Gordon's second goal of the game came in stoppage time Saturday and lifted Toronto FC into a a 2-2 tie with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The Galaxy (8-2-7) appeared well on their way to a win after Juan Pablo Angel collated a deflected Todd Dunivant shot and blasted a volley past Toronto goalie Stefan Frei in the 92nd minute, breaking a 1-1 tie.

But Gordon, who played for the Galaxy from 2004-10, burned his former team by netting the equalizer 2 minutes later, striking a perfectly placed volley from inside the area.

Gordon's first goal came in the 68th minute for Toronto (2-5-8), and erased a 1-0 deficit.

Chris Birchall scored in the second minute for the Galaxy.
