MLB: Seattle 7, Chi. White Sox 4 (10 inn.)

CHICAGO, June 9 (UPI) -- A two-run double by Miguel Olivo keyed a three-run 10th inning Wednesday that sent the Seattle Mariners to a 7-4 decision over the Chicago White Sox.

Olivo hit a solo homer in the eighth that gave the Mariners a 4-2 lead, but Chicago tied it in the bottom half of the inning on a two-run blast by Carlos Quentin, his 17th home run of the season.

Chicago's Sergio Santos (2-2) worked his way out of a ninth-inning jam and then came out for the 10th. He gave up a leadoff double to Justin Smoak and walked Adam Kennedy and Olivo then doubled both runners home before he eventually scored from third on a squeeze bunt by Franklin Gutierrez.

Aaron Laffey (1-1) got the win by working the ninth and Brandon League was perfect in the 10th to grab his 17th save.

Seattle avoided a three-game sweep at the hands of the White Sox.
