HOUSTON, May 28 (UPI) -- Juan Miranda hit two-run homers in consecutive innings Friday as part of an Arizona comeback that gave the Diamondbacks a 7-6 win over Houston.
Arizona faced a 6-0 deficit after four innings but Miranda started the rally with home runs in the fifth and sixth. The Diamondbacks moved within one on an RBI single by Kelly Johnson in the seventh and then took the lead later in the inning thanks to a Houston miscue.
With the bases loaded and one away, Chris Young hit a grounder back to pitcher Wilton Lopez (1-2). A throwing error by Lopez allowed the tying and go-ahead runs to score and Arizona held on for its fourth straight win and 12th in 14 games.
Daniel Hudson (6-5) was credited with the win although he gave up six runs on eight hits in six innings.
J.J. Putz walked a batter in the ninth, but picked up his 15th save.
