SAN FRANCISCO, May 25 (UPI) -- A three-run double by Gaby Sanchez and solid pitching from Ricky Nolasco were enough to carry the Florida Marlins past San Francisco 5-1 Tuesday.

Nolasco (4-0) went 8 1/3 innings and was charged with one run on seven hits and five strikeouts.

Leo Nunez closed the game out with his 18th save, giving Florida its third win in four games.

Sanchez went 3-for-4, including a double off Matt Cain (3-3) in the third inning. Mike Stanton added a solo home run.

It was the first career loss to the Marlins for Cain, who gave up four runs on six hits in six innings.

Miguel Tejada had a ninth-inning sacrifice fly to account for the only run for the Giants, who had won five in a row.
