MIAMI, May 20 (UPI) -- Gaby Sanchez broke an eighth-inning tie with a sacrifice fly Friday and the Florida Marlins went on to down Tampa Bay 5-3.
Florida then came through with the decisive runs in the eighth against Joel Peralta (1-3), the fifth Tampa Bay pitcher of the game.
Hanley Ramirez opened the eighth with a single and moved to third on a double by Morrison.
Sanchez came through with a fly ball to right on a 3-2 pitch that brought home Ramirez and put the Marlins in front. After Greg Dobbs was intentionally walked, Stanton produced another sacrifice fly that delivered Morrison.
Michael Dunn (4-2) got the win in relief of Anibal Sanchez by working the eighth. Leo Nunez threw only seven pitches in the ninth while picking up his 16th save.
