SECAUCUS, N.J., May 17 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA draft lottery Tuesday, garnering their first No. 1 overall pick since 2003 when they selected LeBron James.

Cleveland obtained the pick as part of a trade during the past season in which Mo Williams was sent to the Los Angeles Clippers for Baron Davis.

The Cavs also have their own first-round pick, which, thanks to the lottery results, they will deploy with the No. 4 overall pick during the June 23 NBA draft.

The Minnesota Timberwolves, which had the worst record in the NBA this season, had a 25 percent chance to pick No. 1 but instead fell to No. 2.

Utah landed the No. 3 pick with a first-round choice they obtained as part of a deal that sent Deron Williams to the New Jersey Nets.

The Toronto Raptors, which had a 15.6 percent chance at the top pick, dropped to No. 5 while the Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings fell to sixth and seventh.

Completing the first round will be the Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Bobcats, Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, Jazz, Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets.
