MLB: Chicago White Sox 4, Oakland 3

OAKLAND, Calif., May 15 (UPI) -- Alexi Ramirez collected three hits and drove in a pair of runs Sunday, keying the Chicago White Sox's 4-3 win over Oakland.

Ramirez socked a solo homer in the fourth inning, breaking a scoreless tie, and added a run-scoring single for a 4-2 advantage in the seventh that proved to be the game-winning run.

Mark Buehrle (3-3) earned the victory, yielding three runs on seven hits and three walks over 6 1/3 innings. He struck out six as the White Sox took the rubber match of their three-game set in Oakland.

Sergio Santos made the lead hold up in the ninth, recording his fifth save.

Trevor Cahill (6-1) suffered his first loss of the year after surrendering 10 hits and four runs over seven innings. His throwing error in the seventh opened the door to Chicago's decisive outburst.

Coco Crisp hit a solo homer and Daric Barton contributed a two-run single for the A's.
