SAN FRANCISCO, May 12 (UPI) -- Aubrey Huff's two-out single in the seventh inning Thursday drove in the deciding run in San Francisco's 3-2 victory over Arizona.
Matt Cain (3-2) collected the win by holding the Diamondbacks to two runs on seven hits and a walk over 7 2/3 innings. He struck out seven batters in his first win since April 15.

Nate Schierholtz went 3-for-4 with an RBI and Eli Whiteside doubled twice for the Giants, who have now won eight of their last nine games, including a three-game sweep of Arizona.
The loser was Daniel Hudson (3-5), who allowed the three San Francisco runs on seven hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings.
Arizona has now lost four straight.
