MLS: FC Dallas 1, Toronto 0

FRISCO, Texas, May 11 (UPI) -- Daniel Hernandez scored on a first-half penalty kick Wednesday and the goal stood up to give FC Dallas a 1-0 victory over Toronto.

The score came in stoppage time after George John was held in the penalty area by Toronto's Adrian Cann.

Dallas improved to 4-3-2 and, by staying unbeaten in its last four games, has jumped into a third-place tie with Colorado in the Western Conference.

Toronto (2-4-4) has just one win in its last eight outings.
