MLB: LA Angels 6, Chicago White Sox 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., May 11 (UPI) -- Alberto Callaspo drove in three runs Tuesday to lead the Los Angeles Angels to a 6-2 win over the Chicago White Sox.

Callaspo went 2-for-4 with a pair of run-scoring singles in support of Joel Pinero (2-0), who held the Sox to two runs on eight hits over 7 2/3 innings.

Howie Kendrick had two doubles and an RBI for the Angels, who have won five of their last seven games.

Paul Konerko had a solo home run for Chicago. The White Sox saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.

John Danks (0-6) remained winless for Chicago, allowing six runs on 10 hits in five innings.

Los Angeles got to Danks quickly with three runs in the first inning on RBI singles by Torii Hunter and Callaspo.

Maicer Izturis had a solo home run in the Angels' two-run third.
