NBA: Miami 102, Boston 91

MIAMI, May 3 (UPI) -- Miami's LeBron James scored 35 points Tuesday, pushing the Heat to a 102-91 win over Boston and a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal series.

James grabbed seven rebounds and Dwyane Wade added 28 points to go with eight boards for second-seeded Miami, which swept two home games to start its much-anticipated semifinal showdown with the third-seeded Celtics.

Chris Bosh hauled down 11 rebounds and added 17 points as the Heat shook off the defense-minded Celtics in the fourth period to pull away.

Rajon Rondo pumped in 20 points and handed off 12 assists to lead Boston, which was held to 43 percent shooting from the floor while playing without injured center Shaquille O'Neal.

Kevin Garnett contributed 16 points and six rebounds for the Celtics, who will look to get into the win column when the series shifts to Boston for Saturday's Game 3.
