Watson's final birdie ties Simpson in N.O.

AVONDALE, La., April 30 (UPI) -- Bubba Watson's 18th-hole birdie Saturday pulled him into a share of the lead with Webb Simpson after three rounds of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Simpson birdied five straight holes starting with No. 3 but it wasn't enough to hold off Watson, who rebounded from a dicey start to card a round of 2-under-par 70, tying him with Simpson at 12-under 204 after 54 holes.
