MLB: Houston 2, Milwaukee 1

HOUSTON, April 30 (UPI) -- Jason Bourgeois rapped a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday, handing the Houston Astros a 2-1 decision over Milwaukee.

Pinch-hitter Brett Wallace and Michael Bourn each drew two-out walks from Kameron Loe (2-2) in the ninth. After Bill Hall came in to run for Wallace, Bourgeois sent him home with a game-ending hit to shallow left.

Bourgeois went 3-for-5 and Hunter Pence drove in the other run for the Astros, who evened their three-game series with the Brewers at one win apiece.

Brandon Lyon (3-1) was credited with the win despite blowing a save in the top of the ninth, when he allowed a score-tying solo homer to Prince Fielder.

Houston starter Wandy Rodriguez hurled eight shutout innings, yielding seven hits without a walk and striking out six.

Milwaukee's Randy Wolf also pitched well, limiting the Astros to one run on four hits in a seven-inning start.
