Grace Park shares first-round LPGA lead

MOBILE, Ala., April 28 (UPI) -- Grace Park, who has struggled with back problems in the last three years, shot a 5-under 67 Thursday to share the first-round lead at the Avnet LPGA Classic.

Park was tied with Song-Hee Kim at the Magnolia Groves Crossings course on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Park has played a limited schedule since 2008 and this is only her fourth event of the season. The last of her six LPGA Tour wins came seven years ago.
