MIAMI, April 27 (UPI) -- Andre Ethier socked a solo homer in the 10th inning Wednesday, handing the Los Angeles Dodgers a 5-4 victory over Florida.
Ethier, leading off the frame, pulled a pitch from Brian Sanches (3-1) into the right field stands and the Dodgers hung on to salvage one victory in a three-game series against the Marlins.
The win went to reliever Matt Guerrier (2-1), who worked his way out of a two-on, no-outs jam in the bottom of the ninth. Vicente Padilla earned his second career save with a 1-2-3 10th.
Rod Barajas blasted a three-run homer and the Dodgers tied the score in the seventh inning on Juan Uribe's RBI double.
Chris Coghlan delivered a bases-clearing, three-run double, highlighting a four-run second inning for the Marlins, who lost for only the third time in 12 home games.
