CHICAGO, April 24 (UPI) -- Andre Ethier ignited a five-run first inning with an RBI single and the Los Angeles Dodgers went on to defeat the Chicago Cubs 7-3 Sunday.

Miles ended 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored while Loney knocked in two for Los Angeles.
Hiroki Kuroda (3-2) earned the win, allowing three runs (two earned) on nine hits over 6 2/3 innings, striking out seven without issuing a walk.
Zambrano was roughed up for six runs on eight hits in a five-inning start for Chicago.
