After Stephen Drew's RBI single gave Arizona a 1-0 lead in the first, the Reds answered with a four-run rally fueled by a hit batter and three walks -- two that forced in runs -- and a two-run single by Miguel Cairo off Arizona starter Daniel Hudson (0-4).

The Reds added three runs against Hudson before chasing him in the sixth inning. Jonny Gomes had a solo home run in the fifth for Cincinnati and Ramon Hernandez doubled in one run and scored the other in the sixth for a 7-3 lead.

Hudson got a run home for Arizona in the second with a nice bunt and Johnson's home run in the fifth made the score 4-3. The Diamondbacks' final run came on a ninth-inning home run by Drew. It was his first home run of the year.
