NBA: Miami 93, Philadelphia 73

MIAMI, April 18 (UPI) -- LeBron James scored 29 points Monday, propelling the Miami Heat to a 93-73 win over Philadelphia and a 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series.

James grabbed seven rebounds to go with six assists and Chris Bosh chipped in 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Heat, who led wire-to wire and swept a pair of home games to start the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

Dwyane Wade fought off migraine headaches to add 14 points for the Southeast Division champs, who held the Sixers to 26 percent shooting from the field.

Thaddeus Young led Philadelphia with 18 points and six rebounds while Evan Turner added 15 and six off the bench.

Leading Sixers scorer Elton Brand was held to three points on 1-for-5 shooting over 30 minutes of playing time.
