ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., April 18 (UPI) -- David Price hurled eight shutout innings Monday and the Tampa Bay Rays blanked the Chicago White Sox 5-0.
Price (2-2) scattered four hits, walked two and struck out nine, allowing only one White Sox runner to reach third base in a 114-pitch effort.

Joel Peralta tossed a scoreless ninth to complete the shutout and hand the Rays their sixth win in seven games.
Felipe Lopez socked a solo home run, doubled and singled in four at-bats, driving in three runs, and Ben Zobrist added a two-run home run for the Rays.
Chicago starter Edwin Jackson (2-2) surrendered four runs on 11 hits, walking one and fanning three as the White Sox lost for the sixth time in seven outings.
