BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., April 17 (UPI) -- Chad Barrett and Omar Gonzalez found the net Sunday and the Los Angeles Galaxy went on to record a 2-1 victory over Chicago.
Barrett broke the ice late in the first half. Miguel Lopez found him with a pass in the center of the penalty area and he blasted a shot past goalkeeper Jon Conway for his first goal of the season.

The score stayed 1-0 until the 72nd minute when Gonzalez jumped high into the air to head a Lopez corner kick into the net -- also his initial goal of the year for the Galaxy (3-1-3).
The Fire (1-3-1) weren't able to capitalize on a pair of breakaways in the first half.
They made it 2-1 in the 89th minute on a tally from Dominic Oduro.
