HARRISON, N.J., April 16 (UPI) -- Luke Rodgers struck for two goals Saturday, powering Red Bull New York to a 3-0 win over the San Jose Earthquake.
Both of Rodgers' goals came early in the game.

He found the net just 2 minutes into the contest when Dane Richards put a corner kick into his path and Rodgers responded with a header into the net from close range.
His second goal came in the 15th minute when Thierry Henry stole the ball from a San Jose defender and fed it to Rodgers, who booted it into the goal and off the back post.
Henry got the third goal for New York (2-1-2) in the 88th minute on a header off a cross from Rodgers.
San Jose (1-2-2), meanwhile, saw its three-game unbeaten streak snapped.
