LOS ANGELES, April 16 (UPI) -- Albert Pujols and Lance Berkman each smacked a pair of homers Fridays and the St. Louis Cardinals routed the Los Angeles Dodgers 11-2.
Pujols collected a two-run shot in the fifth inning and a solo homer in the seventh, while Berkman added bases-empty blasts in the second and fourth frames for St. Louis.
Yadier Molina went 4-for-4 with a run scored and David Freese had three hits and two runs scored for the Cards, who evened their record at 7-7 and took their second straight from the Dodgers.
Kyle Lohse (2-1) yielded two runs on six hits over 7 1/3 innings to earn the victory while walking one and fanning six.
Dodgers starter Jon Garland (0-1) was pounded for five runs on five hits in a four-inning effort.
Matt Kemp had two hits and knocked in a run for Los Angeles.
