MLB: Texas 3, Baltimore 0

BALTIMORE, April 10 (UPI) -- Derek Holland and three relievers combined for a six-hit shutout Sunday and the Texas Rangers improved to 8-1 with a 3-0 whitewash of Baltimore.

Holland (2-0) limited the Orioles to five hits over six innings, walking two and striking out six.

Darren Oliver and Darren O'Day combined for 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief and Neftali Feliz logged a four-out save, his third of the year, to complete the shutout for Texas, which took the rubber contest of a three-game series at Camden Yards.

Adrian Beltre knocked a solo homer in the fourth inning and Ian Kinsler launched a two-run shot in the seventh to account for the Rangers' offense.

Jeremy Guthrie (1-1) returned from a bout of pneumonia and took the loss despite yielding only one run on four hits over six innings.
