Andujar, Starace to meet in Moroccan final

CASABLANCA, Morocco, April 9 (UPI) -- Pablo Andujar ousted top-seeded Albert Montanes in straight sets Saturday to win a berth in the finals of the Moroccan Open.

The Spaniard knocked off countryman Montanes 6-4, 6-4 and will next face fifth-seeded Potito Starace of Italy, who outlasted No. 8 seed Victor Hanescu 6-1, 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (7-2).

Andujar had lost to Montanes in their previous two meetings and will face an opponent in Starace who has also beaten him twice. Starace will be looking for his first career championship.
