NBA: Golden State 108, Portland 87

PORTLAND, Ore., April 6 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis scored 30 points and David Lee had 29 points and 20 rebounds Tuesday in the Golden State Warriors' 108-87 romp over Portland.

Despite the lopsided loss, Portland clinched a playoff berth by virtue of Houston's loss to Sacramento.

Stephen Curry added 28 for the Warriors, who have won four of their last six contests.

LaMarcus Aldridge and Wesley Matthews led the Blazers with 17 points apiece. Aldridge also had a dozen rebounds.

The score was tied 47-47 at halftime. The Warriors took control with a 13-1 run in the third quarter that gave them an 84-68 lead heading into the final period.
